1st Wandsworth Scouts

A warm welcome to the 1st Wandsworth Scouts, a thriving group of Beavers, Cubs, and Scouts based in the heart of Wandsworth.

What do Scouts do?

Scouts is where young people make new friends, have amazing adventures, and learn new skills.

Everyone is welcome here. All genders, races and backgrounds. Regardless of your child’s physical ability - there’s a Scout adventure out there waiting for them, and we’ll help them find it.

BEAVERS (6-8yrs)

Our youngest members that meet for an hour every week. It’s a great introduction to everything that Scouting has to offer, with indoor and outdoor activities. They have the opportunity to be creative, explore their local community, and experience the excitement of a Beaver Scout Sleepover with their friends.

CUBS (8-10yrs)

Cubs take part in a wide range of activities designed to be interesting and challenging. A Cub Scout meeting consists of games and activities with plenty of time spent outdoors.

Camps and holidays are some of the most memorable events of the year for Cubs.

SCOUTS (10-14yrs)

The Scout Troop is the third section in the Scout Group, above Beavers and Cubs.

Scouts aims to build and develop young people’s confidence, sense of adventure and outdoor skills, as well as encouraging them to explore their beliefs and attitudes and be creative. It offers them the independence to put these skills into practice at camps and even on international trips.

Hire The Romany

We have a fantastic space available for private events and clubs, that consists of our wooden hut and plenty of open land around it. Perfect for parties, meetings, or workshops.

“What Scouting says to people is that every child has a right to have an adventure. Life is about grabbing opportunities.”
